The rooms are generally shabby, and the breakfast is terrible. There are various broken lifts (don't come if you're disabled), that have been broken for several months.
An awful hotel, only redeeming factor is it is cheap.

La ubicación es un diez pero la habitación deja mucho que desear más por el baño. La bañera estaba atascada igual que el lava manos se lo dijimos a los chicos de recepción y no hicieron nada. Era un asco cada vez que nos bañamos se subía los pelos para arriba.

You get what you pay for. A 3 star hotel that doesn't really offer much else than a semi comfy bed and a boring tasteless English Breakfast. Powder scrambled eggs, rock hard bacon, sausages that didn't taste anything at all.
But it is cheap and fairly central and close to the Aldgate Station tube.
The Staff at the reception needs a course in welcoming people coming through the door, the rooms needs an upgrade, and the breakfast needs a new chef.

Excellent staff, friendly and helpful, amazing bar staff, had a great time. Close to northumbria university london campus, very easy to find. Amazing food.

No limpian la habitación durante la estancia , no cambian las sábanas aún pidiéndoselo porque se habían mal chafo de Coca Cola, a la llegada había suciedad en la habitación . El caterin de desayuno es escaso , en media hora ya se había. Acabado los cruasanes.

Buona posizione, ma sull hotel non ci siamo. Camera e bagno sporchi, materasso macchiato. In 4 giorni di pernottamento non ci hanno rifatto la stanza!

Hotel do not provide Internet. You have to pay for it, and it’s very expensive. Service in general is very bad. They do not clean the rooms, no change of sheets. A really bad experience.

Heating was not working, glasses and cover were not clean. Then, I found a pillow case in the bath. It might be used for cleaning process. Good thing is that hotel service are so helpful and brought a heater. Also, location is next to the centre and near the underground.

Absolute worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Dirty rooms & disgusting bed sheets. You only get 30 minutes of free wifi, after that you have to pay for it. The fire alarm went off repeatedly at 2am and when I went outside the room to check, someone from the staff walked by and just said “it’s okay” and left without saying anything else. Would absolutely NOT recommend staying here!

L’hôtel est situé à Whitechapel à 5 minutes des gratte ciel, à 15 minutes à pied des Tower Bridge et de la la cathédrale Saint Paul. Personnel professionnel et à l’écoute. 5 prises USB disponibles pour charger ses appareils dans la chambre donc pas besoin d’adaptateur et possibilité d’emprunter un sèche cheveux à la réception. Petit déjeuner varié et qualitatif avec choix salé, sucré et vegan servi dans une grande salle spacieuse et agréable. Immeuble moderne de 7 étages desservi par quatre ascenseurs donc peu d’attente pour monter ou descendre. Bon rapport qualité prix pour Londres.

This hotel takes minimalism seriously. The rooms have no water, no hand towels, no nightstand and no place to put your toiletries. The cups I got in my room were dirty and had coffee stains. The bedsheets were also dirty. You have to pay to use the WiFi. The only thing the hotel has going for it is the location, given that it is close to the Central Line. But honestly if you want to be near the city you are better off sleeping on a bench in the main station.

Quite a good location, just a stone throwaway from Aldgate Station.

No water in room, 3.5 £ for 750 ml at bar.
No toiletries
No way to connect with reception or service, call button doesn't work, bad for emergencies
Free WiFi is for 30 mins and that too very bad speeds, better use mobile data.

Hello, I discourage everyone from booking with Travelodge I've just had a very terrible experience. If you're going to book from here please make sure you pay refundable booking. I sadly paid for non-refundable with hopes of going out but my mums had an accident after explaining my situation to customer service by email and phone. They still refused to give me a refund. Unfortunately, Travelodge does not care about what happens provided they make money they want me to change my booking for an additional £10 which I have 2 bookings making £20. I don't recommend booking here at all.

The hotel room is comfortable, and the location is convenient with easy access to buses and the tube. However, be prepared for unexpected visits from housekeeping staff if you don’t respond to two knocks. I’ve stayed in hotels across various countries and have never encountered such an issue. When I brought this problem to the reception's attention, the staff was incredibly rude, insisting it was my fault for not putting up the "Do Not Disturb" sign. The hotel already knows whether the guests have checked out or not, yet they still enter the room without proper notice. I am very disappointed with the service from such a reputable brand.
